|Sprouting from Ducati's Supermono project, the Troll was a chassis and body kit that enable the builder to have an amazingly nimble and lightweight chassis that held an air-cooled 2V motor, built to your liking. We have been lucky enough to have 3 of the 12 or so that were built come though our doors. 2 came in built, but needing a lot of love, and the 3rd came in boxes. As you can see from the pics, 2 ended up in street trim ultimately, and the third, featuring a built engine, remained in track configuration.|
|This Monster was worked over from front to back. Suspension, bars, tires.. it all was touched. The engine is really something special though... Donnie worked his magic through the whole thing..when it all was done, the heart of an air cooled superbike beat inside this Monster.. When the new owner took it out for it's maiden romp, he brought it back saying the clutch was slipping... it wasn't.. it was the back tire spinning in third gear!|
We do it all here at The Pond! This bike started life as an iconic 996 Superbike, but Milton is a land speed guy, so the stock setup just wouldn't work for that end of the spectrum. New streamliner bodywork was ordered up, the gearing was changed, and hours were spent fitting it all together. The engine ran the first season in a stock trim level, but this winter it is being pulled for a true performance build.. new pistons, lightened internals, reworked heads. She looks different, but she brings the Ducati thunder!
At first glance there isn't much different about this Diavel, and that is the way the owner wanted it.. It isn't until you really start to look closer that you see all the cool additions! We pulled off the tail lights and the front signals and had them smoked.. a much more involved process than one would expect. All sorts of little parts were pulled and powdercoated black to give this Diavel Dark a truly evil presence on the road.
This wicked Multistrada started off as a limited production Pikes Peak and ended up pretty close to what raced the Iconic Pikes Peak Hill Climb a few years back. Featuring authentic race graphics, DP parts galore, Brembo Monobloc's and an almost impossible to find Akropovic titanium exhaust system. All told, this bike dropped close to 25lbs over stock and is putting down 155-160hp at the rear wheel.
This R has made the rounds online, and we are extremely proud of it. Starting life as a brand new unit, this one was pulled apart and almost all aspects of the bike were touched. Heads were flowed, thinner gaskets installed, mapping changed, multiple exhaust systems were tried, suspension reworked, wheels changed, etc. This is one of those special builds where you just step back and know that all the small extras are going to be overlooked.
